Condado de Alhama is the largest urban residential complex
in Europe. Its dimensions and design ambitions will convert
it into a reference project for golf resort developments.
On 9 million square metres, on the edge of three magnificent
golf courses, 20.000 properties (12.000 in the first stage
and 8.000 in the second) will be built – in effect a
golf city for 60.000 inhabitants.

Without a doubt, the golf
is the protagonist. There will be three 18-hole courses; one Jack
Nicklaus Signature course on 960.000 m2, and two large 18-hole
courses, Nicklaus’ “Bear’s Best”, on 1.600.000
m2. Each of these two large golf complexes will have a separate
fully equipped club house.

Like any conventional city
Condado de Alhama will have its centre, a large Town Centre,
open to residents and visitors. This is where we will find
all the services required by a modern citizen. The centre
will be extended over 75.000 m2, right next to the golf courses,
and surrounded by water from a 200.000 m2 artificial lake.
Services provided will include cinemas, banks, church, offices,
medical attention, vet clinic, supermarket and specialized
shops, restaurants, cafeterias, etc.

| Apart from the Town Centre the resort will be
completely private, with integral security service, creating an
exclusive and peaceful environment for the residents. Within the
resort, like in any town, we will find different barrios, with their
own identity and independence. Each barrio will participate in the
golf courses and will be constructed integrally, autonomously, and
in one phase to reduce disturbances for the neighbouring barrios.

In these barrios, five Town Centres with
exclusive access for the residents will be built. Supermarkets
and specialized shops, hairdressers, pharmacies, dry laundries,
restaurants, sports facilities, all that in a private complex
within walking distance from your home.
Apart from the sport facilities in the different barrios there
will be various sports centres including tennis, padel, squash,
cricket, football, and gyms to complement the sports offer
of Condado de Alhama. The dimensions of the complex will also
allow the introduction of a series of facilities that you
would not normally find on a golf resort, such as thermal
baths or a horse riding area.

In this privileged environment the properties
in groups of four storey apartments buildings, all with communal
pools, will be 1 beds, 2 beds, and 3 beds. There will also be detached
villas of different sizes, all in private plots and with different
architectures.

arquitectos, Arcadia and GCA arquitects. |
